East Malaysia Vacation. Bintulu to Miri to Brunei

Hello. 

It has been some time since i update my blog.

So here is the first greeting picture. 

This is inside a shopping mall in Bintulu

Along with 2 of my brothers.

So here is the stories. My brothers and I went to Bintulu and stayed at my relative house for 2 nights. The first day is bored and nothing much can be done during afternoon. Only walking in a shopping mall which is much smaller than the shopping mall in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

But East Malaysia!!! We should enjoy the nature. Not the city live...

So we went to Kuala Tatau.... (Sounds like tak tau.... in chinese, island is "dao", so is actually "bu zhi dao"... which mean i don't know in chinese)

So we take a small boat to get over to the other side.

Here is some worm for fishing purpose.

Its actually a boring moment when you need to wait for the fish to get hooked.

So at night time, we went to this relative house and we started BBQ. Its really fun.

However, when we are eating happily, this dog, Lulu if not mistaken, got poisoned by someone outside. They throw some food with dog poison. Of course dog know nothing. So they just eat whatever there is. Few minutes later, the dog started to vomit bubble. Cannot move and start shaking on the floor. It died in about 20-30 minutes.

Cannot do anything about it. We still need to continue the bbq.

So the third day, we wanted to go to Miri to play. So my relative brought us to eat breakfast first.

Nasi lemak ayam. Which is really really delicious in my opinion.

On the way, we stopped at this beach.

And the scenery is destroyed by him... Hahahaha.

So we went for lunch at Uncle Lim Kitchen. The food is really made using their best effort. Because it took more than half hour for 3 dishes to come out. Hahaha.

Of course i always eat meat in each meal.

And my brother tried this out. But it's satisfying and full.

Our next journey is to Crocodile Farm. 

So i take a picture with the statue at the entrance.

Its actually a zoo. But the main attraction is crocodile, that's why its called crocodile farm.

Bak kut teh crocodile soup. I didn't try...

4 days at Bintulu and Miri

So i have this relative that is damn nice to my brothers and I one. When my dad and mom passed away, they come here all the way from Bintulu to take care of us. 

So this time, my brothers and I had decided to visit them at Bintulu. I brought 3 jackets, one for her and her husband. Another one for her sister. For 3 of the kids, we will find something better soon.

So this is our plan, I will fly on Friday, 13th September early morning. Which means i will go to airport on 12th September night to stay over. I hope i can sleep well at airport. Hope it wont be like last time. Last time, i wander around until 5am in the morning and just get about 1 hour sleep. It is really tiring. So once i reach Bintulu, my small brother will come to fetch me and my big brother will reach bus terminal around the same time. So we will go around Bintulu for some time and then we will find our relative at night time after his work. 

Then we might go zoo the next day and we will go to Miri on the night of the second day. Stay at small bro's room and then we will play for one and a half day. Then i will come back KL on Sunday afternoon. It had been quite a quite expensive trip since the flight ticket cost around 350+. Well, i guess i need a good rest after everything that had happened.

Assembling Ikea bed frame and wardrobe.

Had just got increment in salary and am getting some new furniture from Ikea. What i bought is a bed frame (RM399), a mattress (RM699) and a wardrobe (RM199). Delivery fees is RM75.

While i am shopping at Ikea, my slipper broken. So i went to Ikano and straight away bought a good slipper. Crocs brand. Cost me RM129. What a day. Spent about RM1500 in just few hours.

Although the delivery fee is a bit expensive, but its fast despite so many order there is. My items reached the second days around 12pm. However, when i do the payment, they mentioned it will reach between 3-5pm. Its earlier by 3 hours and i asked them to wait for me since i am at outside eating my lunch. They waited and didn't complain. Its good.

So i started the assembling process with the wardrobe first. My room is really really small. Its hard to do the assembling inside the room but i need to do it inside the room because it will be more troublesome if i assemble it at living room and move it to the room. So i move most of the thing out of my room and assemble it. Here we go.

Opening the box. Move the "papan" and scratched my finger. Bleeding and its painful. Don't have handyplast so i wrap it with tissue paper and tightening it with rubber.

Continue the assembling with my painful finger. Just following the manual and it will worked well.

One of the door is on. Next one is coming.

Its done. So i started to put all my clothes inside. Yeah!!! 

Assembling time: Roughly 1 hour 30 minutes. 

Next, i have a bed frame. Its harder and inside the manual, they encourage to have 2 people to work together to assemble it.

However, i assemble the bed frame alone, and this time, its even faster than the wardrobe.

Didn't take any picture during the process, just the end product.

The best feeling ever. I can sleep comfortably now. Hahaha.
