After almost 1 year living in KL, i think i had enjoyed a lot. Especially with my part timer friends and my colleagues.
Had been to some kampung and enjoy the scenery, face a lot of challenges, Mutiara Taman Negara, Sunway for company trip, Genting, Kbox, buffet, steambot with my sweetheart, company annual dinner with costume, and a lot more.
This picture is me when i am at canopy walk. I think it is about 100meter above the ground.
Another post. This picture and previous picture is taken by two different cameraman.
This girl is one of the universal team builder team member.
And then we went to kampung Batek. The people there have some unique culture. They use wood and "rotan" to start a fire. Really pro. They can do it in less than 30 seconds.
I really enjoy this kind of life and i already decided that i will expand my career in KL. When i success, i will continue to expand my career to my hometown.
Back to some history, i realize that everything i have today is really based on my own decision few years back. Before i went to MPI to study, i still wonder if i should study at MPI or TwinTech college. At that time, i receive a letter from TwinTech college asking me to go study there. Luckily i reject that. If not, i might not have what i have today.
Luckily i also met my other half who always told me not to stay in Sibu to work because the salary there is too low for a graduate.
However, when i come to KL, i realize that even if graduates come to KL to work, they might have a hard time to survive. It is because the living expenses here is too high....especially on entertainment one. People always said, it is a round cycle for entertainment to be included in our live.
No entertainment -> no mood to work -> performance drop -> been fired -> no work -> no money -> no entertainment -> die
Have entertainment -> have mood to work -> performance better at work -> increment, bonus and promotion -> more money -> more entertainment -> survived!
Of course, this is just made up by someone. Some people might agree and some might not. But the income in KL, no matter how much u earn, u will feel not enough.
I did some survey by asking my friends, colleagues and some strangers i met from internet too. When i asked what is the level of their study and their income, this is what i got.
Fresh graduates who are employees, working for their boss
SPM : RM1200-1500 (age 17)
Diploma : RM1600-2000 (age 20)
Degree : RM2300 - 2700 (age 23)
Quite a huge jump between diploma and degree. However, SPM graduates normally come out to work at age 18. If they start working at age 18 and they really hardworking enough, their income might increase up to the same level or more than diploma and degree graduates after 3-5 years. And how long does people need to study to graduate from diploma and degree.
Let see after 3 years working experience, the income for employees should be around....
SPM : RM1800-2200 (age 20)
Diploma : RM2500-3500 (age 23)
Degree : RM3000-4000 (age 26)
This is just estimation, it should vary about few hundreds. If you get less a lot than this, faster change boss. Unless the company give a good benefits.
However, if we are going to do our own business, higher study is not really needed because the employees is not going to see the boss certificates. Only the boss sees the employees certificates.
Alright, in short, KL life is very realistic and materialistic. You drive good cars, many girls will look at you. Your wallet very thin, then you have less friend because you don't dare to go out with your friends. Your wallet very thick but you are stingy, your friend leaves you too. This world is cruel. Hahaha.
Of course, KL still got some kind and nice people. I often saw people helping blind people crossing the road or when there are elderly or pregnant woman in LRT, they will give their seats to them..... well, of course i don't know if those people are really KL people or not. LOL!
Would like to state here, i am happy with my life now. Thank you to my sweetheart, part timer friend which i treasure a lot, my colleagues, church friends and school friends. Thank you very much. :-)
