KL life

After almost 1 year living in KL, i think i had enjoyed a lot. Especially with my part timer friends and my colleagues.

Had been to some kampung and enjoy the scenery, face a lot of challenges, Mutiara Taman Negara, Sunway for company trip, Genting, Kbox, buffet, steambot with my sweetheart, company annual dinner with costume, and a lot more.

This picture is me when i am at canopy walk. I think it is about 100meter above the ground.

Another post. This picture and previous picture is taken by two different cameraman.

This girl is one of the universal team builder team member.

And then we went to kampung Batek. The people there have some unique culture. They use wood and "rotan" to start a fire. Really pro. They can do it in less than 30 seconds.

I really enjoy this kind of life and i already decided that i will expand my career in KL. When i success, i will continue to expand my career to my hometown.

Back to some history, i realize that everything i have today is really based on my own decision few years back. Before i went to MPI to study, i still wonder if i should study at MPI or TwinTech college. At that time, i receive a letter from TwinTech college asking me to go study there. Luckily i reject that. If not, i might not have what i have today.

Luckily i also met my other half who always told me not to stay in Sibu to work because the salary there is too low for a graduate.

However, when i come to KL, i realize that even if graduates come to KL to work, they might have a hard time to survive. It is because the living expenses here is too high....especially on entertainment one. People always said, it is a round cycle for entertainment to be included in our live.

No entertainment -> no mood to work -> performance drop -> been fired -> no work -> no money -> no entertainment -> die

Have entertainment -> have mood to work -> performance better at work -> increment, bonus and promotion -> more money -> more entertainment -> survived!

Of course, this is just made up by someone. Some people might agree and some might not. But the income in KL, no matter how much u earn, u will feel not enough.

I did some survey by asking my friends, colleagues and some strangers i met from internet too. When i asked what is the level of their study and their income, this is what i got.

Fresh graduates who are employees, working for their boss
SPM : RM1200-1500 (age 17)
Diploma : RM1600-2000 (age 20)
Degree : RM2300 - 2700 (age 23)

Quite a huge jump between diploma and degree. However, SPM graduates normally come out to work at age 18. If they start working at age 18 and they really hardworking enough, their income might increase up to the same level or more than diploma and degree graduates after 3-5 years. And how long does people need to study to graduate from diploma and degree.

Let see after 3 years working experience, the income for employees should be around....
SPM : RM1800-2200 (age 20)
Diploma : RM2500-3500 (age 23)
Degree : RM3000-4000 (age 26)

This is just estimation, it should vary about few hundreds. If you get less a lot than this, faster change boss. Unless the company give a good benefits.

However, if we are going to do our own business, higher study is not really needed because the employees is not going to see the boss certificates. Only the boss sees the employees certificates.

Alright, in short, KL life is very realistic and materialistic. You drive good cars, many girls will look at you. Your wallet very thin, then you have less friend because you don't dare to go out with your friends. Your wallet very thick but you are stingy, your friend leaves you too. This world is cruel. Hahaha.

Of course, KL still got some kind and nice people. I often saw people helping blind people crossing the road or when there are elderly or pregnant woman in LRT, they will give their seats to them..... well, of course i don't know if those people are really KL people or not. LOL!

Would like to state here, i am happy with my life now. Thank you to my sweetheart, part timer friend which i treasure a lot, my colleagues, church friends and school friends. Thank you very much. :-)

Methodist Pilley Institute Computer Science review

Hello everyone. I abandoned my blog for a months... omg, sorry about that to my reader.

Okay, i had few comments and i am writing a new post to reply to that comment. Maybe it is too late because the answer appear 2 months after the comment but i hope this can help others to decide when there are more people who wish to know this.

Methodist Pilley Institute.
Diploma in Computer Science.

Pros
1. This institute really provide a strong foundation for those who wish to further involve in IT world.
2. The lecturers were really helpful and willing to help if you are willing to learn.
3. The fees is much lower than a normal college because there are some sponsorship by Methodist Church in Sibu.
4. The food in this college cafeteria is not very expensive and delicious. I like the lunch so much.
5. A lot of handsome guy and pretty girl too. Hahaha
6. Overall standard i would give about 8/10

Cons
1. Earliest class start at 7.45am. So means we need to wake up at 7.00am?

Basically not much disadvantages for this institute. I really strongly encourage students from Sibu to go study here after form5 if you have interest in computer because in here you really learn a lot more than going to Form 6 or matriks. That's my personal opinion. Don't get upset with it if you are in Form 6 or matriks now. Haha

I categorize it to few categories.

1. Programming I
2. Programming II
3. Web Programming
4. OOP(C++)
5. Data Structure
6. Visual Basic
7. Java

3. Pendidikan Moral
4. English II
5. Pengajian Malaysia

Back to Sibu

I had not write after so long. I feel a bit tired lately.

Just to let everyone know, my plan before this to develop a certain website on my own had been canceled. It is due to the reason that I had joined a big company and become very busy everyday. The company is AMWAY!

Haha. I am proud to say that because Amway is a great company that had been established for 50 years at 80 countries.

Ok, back to my own story. I will be back to Sibu tomorrow morning. So tonight, i will be staying at LCCT airport because the flight is at early morning tomorrow. Well, i hope i can get a good sleep tonight.

I miss Sibu quite a lot actually. In a blink of an eye, it had been 4 months. In this 4 months, i already done this.

Played at Sunway Lagoon with my baby, went to Genting Highland to listen to Amway talk and enjoy the weather there, traveled back and forth to my baby house in LRT for one hour everytime, went to Putrajaya for troubleshooting client server, got sick terribly but recover fast enough after taking some nutrients, went to K box with colleagues for farewell party, went to a customer house to make a demo of Amway product which excites me so much and so on.

It had been a very great experience. In this hometown visit, i will try my best to use all the time to do all the important things. Haha.

See you all, my friends in Sibu. And to my friends in KL, see you again in few more days. :-)

Health care

I went to a lot of meeting and learned a lot about health care.

Actually, what is healthy?
- No sickness, no pain.

How about small problem like unable to sleep well at night, always feeling tired, always have ulcer in your mouth, emotional and etc? Is it a sickness?

Actually they are not. All of that happen because we don't have balanced nutrients in our body. For example, some people will have ulcer in their mouth for few weeks or even months because they don't have enough protein to build up the cell in their mouth.

Then what food contains nutrients such as protein?
If you are looking for protein, we had learn it in our primary school right? Fish, egg and milk is the main source of protein. That's why we drink a lot of milk when we are kids. We need to grow bigger. Haha

Healthy life style?
I am sure most of us know how to have a healthy life style. However, less people will have this healthy life style because we are too busy in our life to survive in this materialistic world.

How to have a healthy life style?
This is a boring topic. Everyone knew it already. But i still gonna write it.
1. Eat more vegetables and fruits.

2. Drink more water

3. Sleep well

4. Exercise often

5. Have a clean working and resting environment

6. Eat enough all kind of nutrients needed by your body

Just want to do some survey, how much you normally spend for your personal care items, facial product, household items, vehicles maintenance item and etc.

Personal care item is item such as toothpaste, shampoo, lotion and etc. Everyone using it, right?

Facial and beauty product is item normally used by female people. Some male people also use it to protect their face. These items are items such as cleanser, lipstick, toner, moisturizer and etc.

Household item is item used to clean or protect things in your house such as dish washer, floor and glass cleaner, and etc.

Vehicles maintenance item is item such as engine oil, booster and etc.

Add all the cost you spend on these item and estimate the amount you spend each month on this item and vote at the poll at the side. Thanks

Busy week

Recently, i had joined an organization that i had joined before. It is the world's top 50 company that had lead a lot of people to earn millions of dollar. Of course I would like to be able to do it too.

A new friend fetch me to the HQ of the organization and let me learn.

Not only that, I had joined a church too. The youth in the church is dam active and energetic. A friend from the church also come to fetch me and bring me home each time there is a youth gathering. I feel i am quite lucky. Thanks all.

Due to the reason they always go "lim teh" after meeting or gathering, i end up back home at around 12am or 1am. Of course not everyday but it feels great. At least i am not bored and staying at home after work everyday.

Blind man

I often saw a same blind man walking toward somewhere pointing his stick on the floor.

Whenever i saw this man, there is always an anonymous person helping him.

First time I saw him: He walk into LRT, no place to sit and those bastard sitting inside don't even give him the seats. So a person grab his hand and pull it to the pole at the middle, let him have some place to rely on.

Second time I saw him: He was walking to an escalator but is kinda lost. So a person ask him "where are u going" and he answered "Escalator" with a loud voice. So the person who asked him bring him to the escalator.

Third time I saw him: He was walking towards a door. He is kinda lost because the floor don't have any sign or line for blind people. So a security go toward him and asked "mana kamu mahu pergi" and he answered with a loud voice again "cari pintu".

Actually for all these 3 times, i wanted to help him but there was always someone who is faster than me. Hahaha.

What the hell?

Recently, i heard of 1Malaysia mail news. Government's budget on this system is about RM50 million. This mail will replace all the paper bill, fined bill and others by government.

At first when I heard government need RM50million, i think it is a bit too expensive. If it is not for themselves, then they are being cheated? However, when I heard that the citizens no need to pay even 1 cents, i am a bit relieved but to think they use so much money on this kind of thing.

Hey, we have free hotmail, google, yahoo and many more other email. Why don't you add one more email column to your database that contain citizens data, connect it to the TNB or whatsoever company that gives bill and send the bill from there.

And now I heard that each email will be charged RM0.50. The reason is the encryption and safer email service. Lol... This is how the government earn large sum of money in a short time.....

I saw this funny conversation written by people.

Dialogue from Malaysian remake of "WALL STREET : MONEY NEVER SLEEPS"

CEO: "My trusted CFO....what is your sales estimate for this year?"
CFO: "How much profit u want?"
CEO: "Well.... let's see.....to maintain our extravagant wasteful lifestyle we need at least RM 100 mil for ourselves wouldn't u agree....but don't forget we also need RM 20 mil dividends to keep our pathetic investors happy,..well at least let them THINK we are working our asses off and not getting "gaji buta" u know. And one more thing... factor in another RM 30 mil for the guys who got us this job. Can u do it?"
CFO: "Can I do it? Sap sap suey la....now let's see... our operational expenses is RM 50 mil and u want another RM 150 mil. That adds up to RM 200 mil."
CEO:"That's a lot of money my shrewd CFO.... any problems getting RM 200mil?"
CFO: "Hardly. Tell u what...let's just send out 40 e-mails to 10,000,000 accounts nationwide and charge 50 sen for each e-mail. That works out to 400,000,000 e-mails x RM 0.50 = RM 200,000,000 in revenues. What do u think, my dumb CEO?"
CEO: "That's a BRILLIANT idea! U are one twisted guy u know! For this i'll make sure u get a datukship very soon! What are u waiting for? Quick, call for a press conference! Can't wait to make this announcement!

7 Deadly Sins

Few years back when I read Full Metal Alchemist, there are 7 enemies with this 7 deadly sins in each of them. These 7 deadly sins appear in human and I'm sure that this world will be better off without them.

First is lust. Lust is an intense sexual desire or appetite. Or other meanings is a person with lust will never satisfy. They always craving for more.

Second is gluttony. It means an excessive eating and drinking. Hm...... Well, people with gluttony like to eat and drink non stop. And they never say "I'm full".

Third is greed. Greed is a characteristic of excessive desire. A person with greed wants everything and they want the best thing of something.

Fourth is sloth. A characteristic of laziness and hard to be moved with. A person with sloth characteristic does not want to do anything. They will just sit and sleep and even complain after a short walk.

Fifth is wrath. Wrath is anger and fury. A person with wrath hardly forget anyone who make fun of them. They also will like to have revenge to the person who treat them badly.

Sixth is envy. Envy is a feeling that discontent to others advantage, possession and success. They will try to overtake it and if they couldn't, they will not be friendly with that person.

Last is pride. It is a state of feeling being proud. They have too much pride that they can't even be made fun of. Their pride makes them feel that they are on different level with others.

My first time

What are you thinking? Hahaha

..
.

I am saying that I received an express post for my first time. My big brother send a t shirt designed by my church in my hometown to me.

I was shocked to see something hanging on the door knobs. Then i remembered that my big brother said he will send something to me but i never thought it will arrive today.

The package. I always help my baby dear to pick up this kind of package, but none of them is for me. This is my first time taking it for myself. Hahahah

This is the design by my church member. I like the fabric. The fabric of this clothes make it suitable to be my sports shirt. Hahaha

Anger

Last few nights, before I fall asleep, I thought of some history of mine.

I remember one person that made me very angry. That person is an elderly.

I will name this person 'A'. 'A' children grew up well and were really talented in all area.

The problem is 'A'. 'A' only thought of 'A's children. When 'A's child started to get a girlfriend, 'A' supported him and said scare no good girl in future.
However, in less than 2 years, 'A's child getting a new gf. Maybe the reason is because of the distance and feeling. However, I really feel bad for the ex girlfriend because she already put in a lot of effort to be the girl that 'A's child like.

I hope my children will not be like that in future.

How to check a fake or phishing Maybank website?

I post this because I am a very active user of Maybank website. Perhaps some people wants to know about this.
There are several ways to detect whether the website is real or fake. It is simple.

1. Check the url. Maybank website url is http://www.maybank2u.com.my/

2. The browser will display a warning picture.

Something like this.

3. The email sent to you that contain a link normally is fake website too. The bad guys who do this normally have a link like this. This is example only.

Click here to update your security features.

4. Maybank only send email about the money you transfer online. It never ask you to log in via the link sent to you.

5. The ip address of maybank currently is 202.162.17.68. If you key in http://202.162.17.68 to the url, it will link to maybank too. However, be careful if email sent to you contain this number. They might change the number and if you don't realize it, then its dangerous. Best way is to not open the url through email.

So how do we check the ip address of the website?
1. Open your command prompt.
2. Key in tracert [website name]
Eg. "tracert choozin.blogspot.com"

3. See the ip address that comes after the website name.
4. To copy it, right click and choose mark.
5. Drag from where you want to copy until the end of the words you want to copy.
6. Left click one time. It will be counted as copy.
7. Paste at URL
8. Add http:// in front of the ip address.
9. Click enter.

Done.

Thanks for reading.

Too much canned food

Eat too much canned food is not good for health. However, i like to eat rice. But only rice is not enough. So i bought a lot of canned food.

Maybe not much but i think it can last for a while.

Of course I like chicken, pork and meat more than this....T_T

However, this is the new things that I buy.

Originally I want to put canned food on it but they are too heavy. So i put some salt, ajinomoto, bowl and cup on it.

My induction cooker that I said in few previous post.

I bought a bucket to put the rice. However, after I calculated, i can only put 3 kilo of rice in it. Damn. There ain't 3 kilo rice. There are 1kg, 5kg and 10kg. Which one should I buy......

Miscalculation by inexperienced guy. Haha.

Update of my life in KL

See the picture?
I like to play futsal. I never miss a single futsal game organized by my company(not owned by me, but the company i'm working for).

Actually I want to play badminton too but there is no one that are willing to organize the badminton game.

Lately, I had been given a stack of work and I like it. It challenges me.
I am learning at a rapid pace...that's what I am thinking. I hope I can get better in this field and commit more to my company.

Lastly, I am really happy working here. This work really suits me. I had solved some error that my team leader looked for few hours. I had went to some client side that have much better facility than my company. It is really fascinating to have all those experience.

Gathering at Mr Ken Lee house

I forgot which Sunday is it but we had a dinner gathering at Mr Ken Lee's house. I heard that they have a BBQ last year and unfortunately, it is raining that time. This year, Mr Ken order food from some restaurant if i'm not mistaken.

The menu is
1. Nasi goreng tomato
2. Rendang
3. Prawn
4. KFC

We had cake as our dessert.

We also played some game after first round of eating. Hahaha.

We are chit chatting around while waiting for the others to arrive.

I guess all man like to hang their leg high up...

Finally we start to eat.

Some still enjoy talking while eating.

We are preparing for the game.

Looking at the host of the game that night.

Checking word translation in google translate.

"i dunno how to read, but i found it. Read it yourself"

I was in this group.

Discussing on the strategy.

"So hard....."

"Omg, I forgot the first part"

And so, the last person imitate him, "Omg, i forgot the first part"

The sentence is somewhat like this.

"Omg..."
