I have similar post few years back but now it's different.
Lifestyle in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has become more expensive nowadays thanks to the high inflation rate.
If you are from other state, or other country, and decided to come to Malaysia to work, and if you are reading this, please use this as your reference.
If you are single, and you come alone to Kuala Lumpur without any specific skill, you might want to live the cheapest lifestyle possible.
Here is the list of what we need to survive in KL.
- Room (RM 250, this can only either get a small room or sharing with someone)
- Utility (RM50, if you are lucky, you dont have to pay any utility for the room you rent)
- Transport (RM200, without your own car, using Grab or MyCar to work, this is only if your work is not too far. If you can rent a room within walking distance to your office, then you can save up this money)
- Insurance (RM150, just to be safe because you never know what will happen. But if you dont want to get it when you just start to work, I understand too because I also only get it after 2 years of working)
- Phone and data (RM50, I assume you have some smartphone that is usable, don't have to get nice or latest model because they are expensive. So a data plan is enough. You can get a really cheap one so RM50 is quite sufficient)
- Food (RM400, you really cannot eat a lot of nice food with this. This is like bread, economic rice, fried rice, instant noodle sometimes but still, it's enough)
- Miscellaneous like grocery, hair cut, entertainment (RM300, just a rough number but usually this will not be enough. Too many things to cover like shampoo, body wash, soap, toothpaste and toothbrush, kitchen thing, toilet paper, haircut, maybe movie once a month and so on)
In total for the cheapest lifestyle, you also already need RM1400. To get cash RM1400, your salary has to be around RM1600. So if you really trying to bet your luck here, please do it with at least RM1600 basic.
For medium and good lifestyle for singles, I had screenshot a spreadsheet.
As you can see from medium lifestyle, once you have a car, your expenses increase by at least RM 800. You cant just say "I don't need car maintenance and car insurance every month", because you have to start saving for it.
You might start to go for sports, subscribe to gym, enjoy better food, live in better room without roommate, go for better saloon for hair cut and watch more movie. So total up to around RM 3010 which means your gross salary should be around RM3400 - RM3500. Of course, you can cut off something unnecessary and calculate your own expenses.
Luxury lifestyle, which includes eating some Sushi or Korean food, trying out Indulge hall in TGV, going for gym and go for futsal and badminton once in a while, driving a Honda City to work, will requires you to have around RM 4400 per month, which is about RM 5100 - RM 5200 gross salary.
Here is the spreadsheet I used to generate this. It's quite simple, just key in the amount you spend on each and you can see the total at the last column.
If you compare this post to the one I posted before, this one has no picture and less colorful. But if you read the content, you will realise that the cost for everything also increased.
So if you want to know more about living cost in Malaysia, feel free to comment below or message to me from Facebook.

Investing in property from 2017 onwards.
I am no expert but I feel that investing in property nowadays is not a good idea.
I went to see a property few days back and the agent told me the average percentage that the property will appreciate is 8-15% a year. So let's assume it is 10% a years. A pre-launch property priced at 510k have 9% discount, 3% pre-launch discount and another 16k rebate if I don't take the furniture. So total amount to be loan is about 430k.
In 3 years, the housing price will raise to 130%. So from 510k, it will go to about 660k.
660k - 430k, you will earn about 230k.
Here's the problem, there are many assumption here.
Assumption 1 - First thing of course, you will need to get the loan to be approved by bank.
Assumption 2 - The developer doesn't run away. Unlikely to happen if the developer is famous one.
Assumption 3 - It really raise 10% a year.
Assumption 4 - Someone will want to buy the unit at 660k. This is the hardest because 3 years from now, there will be more condo or property being developed. There will be more discount, rebate or voucher to be given if the new property is being launched. I have seen many weird marketing strategy like
- buy house, free car
- buy house, earn 200k
- buy house, no need to pay installment for first 3-6 years
- buy house, free vacation voucher
- buy house, free furniture and 10k voucher.
I believe more and more strategy will be implemented in future to attract people to buy pre-launched or new condo. Second hand condo, doesn't stand a chance at all.

Industry affected by bad economy in Malaysia for year 2016
When I went to BBQ Plaza with my friends yesterday, it was bad. They are having free refill type of promotion with a flat price. Usually, there will be tons of people queuing up outside BBQ Plaza, waiting in line for their turn to eat but it's really different yesterday. When I reached, there are only less than 10 tables occupied.
Immediately I thought of the bad economy in Malaysia that cause a lot of people cannot secure a job. Some of the shops in shopping mall is closing down, doing warehouse sales, stopped operating and so on. I am now feeling very lucky, to get a decent job and pay in this new MNC company.
Since the economy is getting worse, some of the field of business is getting affected such as food industry, automotive, entertainment, furniture and so on.
Food industry is being affected when many people cannot afford to eat out as often as they used to be. More people who have no job, will think of a way to do business and usually the first thing that comes to their mind is food industry. They assume that no matter how bad is the economy, human still need to eat. However, when more and more people thinking this way, it only means the supply of food increased. In the morning, people might be able to find nasi lemak stall in every 100-500 meters. With so many supply and the demand stays the same, or should I say, the demand actually decreased because people find alternative way to cut cost such as cook their own food, buy some bread from groceries or they even become food business owner as well, do you really think it is good to start a food business? Good thing about this for consumer is, the price might stay the same or even drop a little because of the competitive industry.
For automotive industry, I always heard people complained or even some video in facebook saying that their business had declined tremendously in the past half year to one year. This is especially to second hand car business owner. They used to be able to sell 1 car a day, to become 1 or 2 in a week, or 1 or 2 in a month. I can't say this is 100% true throughout the whole Malaysia because usually the review comes from a big city where the famous car brand as Honda, Toyota and so on monopolized the whole industry. However, for rural and suburb area, the business for second hand car should still be good because they usually don't need new car to drive around and they don't want to have a 5-9 years loan with bank to buy a car. For this industry, I personally think that it is still doable but it will be risky because no one can accurately predict what will in future.
As for other fields such as entertainment, furniture and so on, it's even worse because it is not necessity for life. You can survive without entertainment but of course, it had become a necessity for people who stays in big city where stress and pressure accumulate. That's why entertainment won't really be affected in big city but overall, I believer less people will go as often as they used to be. For example, people might go to sing k or drink in a pub or bar every week or months but maybe they will only go once every few months. I used to sing k very often like once a month but in this year, it had been decreased to once every 3-5 months. The rate of me going to watch movie had decreased as well.
But of course, there are some industry that won't be greatly impacted by bad economy. Let's see if I can squeeze enough time to write that out next.

Why is it so hard to save money in KL/PJ in Malaysia.
After reading a lot of post in facebook and some articles, I realized there is a lot of saving guide. But it is really hard to save money in KL / PJ. The capital of Malaysia has too much hidden cost that always exceeding the budget.
1. Parking and petrol. Once you have car, parking is one of the hidden expense. You feel like it's nothing but a month can cost you to around 100 or even more if you travel a lot. Anywhere you park, it costs money. Your rented condo, your office, shopping mall and so on. For petrol, this is another biggest expenses that comes together when you have car. Even though you might say you just use your car to work, it will still cost you at least RM150 and above. And usually when you have car, you don't stay at home at weekend.
2. Car maintenance and insurance. If you drive your car less, you still need to maintain it at least once in 3 months. Sometimes it is just coincidence that the big maintenance that usually cost at least RM300 is timed together with car insurance. You will feel like stabbing yourself in the heart why you get the car at the first place. Not to mention if your car tyres burst when you are driving with no reason, it will cost about RM150 per tyre. Imagine this month the car tyre burst, next month fix the air cond, third month maintenance, 4th month car insurance due...... how are we gonna save money.
3. Gym and sports. If you subscribed to gym membership, it feels like it's only RM150/month, or maybe even lesser, but it is still money. How many times you need to go to make it worth your money if you subscribed to gym monthly. The trainer told me at least 3 times a week. I subscribed once when there is a haze because I can't go jogging at the nearby park. When the weather is better, I straight cancel off my membership.
For other sports, some of them will cost a lot too especially sports like badminton and futsal. Badminton is costly because of the shuttlecock. Futsal is because of the court rental.
4. Entertainment. Maybe you said "I will not go clubbing or pub, so entertainment is not a cost to me." Not really. Even movie, karaoke, cyber cafe, bowling, pool, bird park, escape room and so on is cost. It's just that sometimes it is a bit small and we don't put them in our budget list. Don't even mention those who drinks at bar or club once in a while (month maybe?), that will cost even more.
5. Food and drinks. No! I am not saying you cannot eat or drink. You can eat and drink of course. But do you see that sometimes drinks are not so necessary. Drinks in restaurants is just overpriced. For example, a meal of Nasi Lemak Chicken Berempah maybe cost about RM12, the drinks of Limau Ice might cost RM5, which is about 40% of the food price. Save it up 3 times, you can eat another meal. You can try to bring your own drinks for a month, you will feel that you saved up a lot in that month.
In short, saving is really hard in Malaysia but I believe there is still many ways to do it. Get part time job or second job or freelance job so you need more time to work instead of spend, or find some cheapskate way to live in KL/PJ, I believe there is a lot of articles like that. I also just start saving more from this year. How many people who in their 30s have more than 10k in their bank account?

How to handle jet lag?
I just reached Montreal yesterday. So I had been here for about 12 hours. Since it's a long distance flight which is more than 24 hours, the time in flight is so important. My flight depart at 2am and will reach Doha in 6 hours. After that, i will need to wait for 4 hours, to take another flight to Montreal. That flight will be 13 hours. I will reach Canada at 2pm Canada time.
So I thought, I must sleep a little when I am in the flight to Canada, then when I reach, I must stay awake until night time only I can sleep.
So I sleep for about 3 hours in that flight. When I reached, I am very hyper because I drank coffee in the flight before it landed. So I reached my hotel and unpacked my luggage. Take a long shower after a long 24 hours flight, buy some groceries and food, rest up a bit and when I try to update my blog, I fall asleep at the sofa. I force myself to my bed and fall asleep immediately. That sleep lasted for 7 hours. I woke at 2.30am and try to sleep again. Woke again at 4am and this time it's really hard to sleep. Since it's 4pm Malaysia time, I thought I should just see what's the update on facebook.
After checking for a bit, i thought, maybe I should just wake up and do a bit of research on where to go later. So yeah, I am awake, and my next sleep should be 18 hours later. Then my jet lag problem will be solved.
Trick is to sleep at the right time. Just need to get tired for once and sleep at the right time. But since I can't do it at once, because I am getting too sleepy at 7pm, I think doing it twice is ok too.
I met a guy at the airport. He said, he traveled a lot to Malaysia, UK and he is a Canadian. So I asked him how he handle his jetlag. He said, the way to handle it is not to think about it. If you keep on thinking you are 12 hours behind, you will get very tired just for thinking about it.

When someone earn more money than you.
I always wonder when someone earn more money than me, is it normal?
Yeah, now I think it is what they deserve. If they are earning more money than me, it just means few things.
1. They are willing to take risks.
2. They are more hardworking than me.
3. They are using their brain more than me in the society.
4. They enjoy less than me while building up their network in the society.
5. They spend more time on their career than me.
6. They attend more course and have higher qualification than me.
7. They made a much better decision than me.
8. They dare to do the things that I don't dare to do.
9. They have bigger support behind them.
10. They made the correct choices.
11. They are willing to admit their mistake and learn from it.
12. They are responsible for their act.
13. They know what they are doing.
14. They are always up to date on current trend.
15. They live up to their reputation and expectation. If they don't they apologize.
16. They are willing to listen to advise but not necessarily using it. They will only take it as reference.
17. They listen more than they speak.
18. They focus on what they should instead of what they shouldn't.
God is fair. When I thought that my life is so miserable because I don't have any big support behind me, He gave me all the talent and resource that I need to survive on my own and I thank Him for that. I am surrendering my life to Him for the rest of my life.

Playing pocket maplestory experience
Recently, Nexon had released a mobile Maplestory. The name is called Pocket Maplestory. I dont plan to download it because I believe I will get addicted once I start playing it. However, curious about how my new iphone 6s perform with a large game, I decided to download it.
The other reason I downloaded it is because it keeps on appearing on my app store and facebook ads.
Ok. First thing I noticed in this game is there seems like no basic 4 jobs from maplestory before. The 5 jobs that they provide in pocket maplestory is all the legendary hero. I believe it is to provide them a storyline for each of the job. So I choose the most basic one. The name is Kaiser. Seems like a warrior or swordsman. So at level 1 to 8, the character is naked, holding a sword and try to solve some quest so that he can get to the job advancement. The lowest level of equipment is only at level 8. I wonder why Nexon team do this. Naked at level 1 seems a bit funny to me. But no one will stick to that level anyway. Maybe it is to drive player to get to level 8 because curiosity will surely make them continue the game. Some player wanted to see how good the equipment looks on the character. As for me, I am just curious on how the game play gonna be. Is the skill as complicated as pc version and so on.
I will say that the game play is quite nice despite the limited space on the screen. There is not so much key like what we have on keyboard but Nexon team still able to make the game play as much as like the pc version. Really great.
Since I am only playing it for 2 days, I think I am in no position to comment about the story line. Let's see if I still have the mood to continue playing it after this.

Twinz Residence at Puchong Jaya
I had finally reached a new milestone.
I bought a condo in Puchong Jaya, which is still under development. The completion is at 2018. So I had welcomed those who are my good friend, to come for my house warming dinner.
The condo cost around 648k but the rebate is quite good. The rebate from developer is 15% so I don't need to pay down payment. I only need to pay booking fee (RM 5k) and lawyer fee (RM4500+). The booking fee will be released back to me upon the first draw down by the developer, so it should be around 1-2 months. That means, the total amount that I need to pay is only RM4500+ which is the lawyer fee. And since the down payment is 10%, the extra 5% will be released back upon vp. So meaning I will get about 32k cash from developer after vp.
Actually this is my first house, so I am very excited. There are 3 rooms and I even thought of not renting out the room at all. I think I will be able to cover the pay on my own. So I had thought that 1 of the room should be the guest room, for my friends or family who pass by KL and need a place to stay. Then another room is to put my gadget and workstation. A window's computer and macbook is good enough. Then another master room for my own.
Here is some of the picture.
This is the medium room that I planned to make it as my workstation.
This is the view to the master room and medium room
This is the master room.
This is the view of living room. It looks nice because it is a showroom.
The view of the medium room. I like this design very much.
Closer look of the living room.
The kitchen. So important for my future wife.
Yeah, this is the master room, view from the side of the door.
So since I had done all the signing and officially own the house, i went to the site.
This is the construction site. It's just started.
At first, i cannot even think where it would end.
So the worker also have their own resting place.
All of these really consume up a lot of my time but it worth the effort. I am really happy now because I already settled one of the resolution in 2016. Hope more will come.

Insulting as joke
Have you ever been ridiculed or insulted or being used as a joke by people, and then you take it seriously because it doesn't sounds like a joke at all.
I have.
I worked like a cow during a normal working day. Then the HR team is trying to put up the picture frame on the wall because we have a new picture. So I helped them because all HR staff is girl. So while choosing the best tools to help them(between hammer and screwdriver), the guy from sales team came and try to help out too.
I had many works so I am actually quite in rush at that time. At that moment, the Sales Manager came over and talk to his sales department staff "you are working on everything except your own work". Then he looked at me for a while and say "CZ is different. He is very free"
I am really pissed at that time. I'm helping out because they needs help. Not that I am very free. I got tons of works that I need to do. The HR girl who heard that also said "wtf?". Then, I really cannot hold back, so when he walked away, i point my middle finger to him. He then turned back and I pull back my finger. Not sure if he saw that or not but I wish he saw that actually.
So after 1 week or 2, I told my Head of Department about this. He said sales department is just sad. They are not happy people.
My point here is, sometimes, this Sales Manager who tried to make people laugh, failed terribly. Or he is not trying to make people laugh at all. He is just trying to make people look bad. He let his staff do the works, and other department do their work in the front line, so he is safe at the back, hiding in his egg shell, and keep boasting with his title of Vice President of Sales. If he is trying to joke by insulting people, guess what, I don't think he is likable by his friends. My opinion against him is, he lacked of social skill and got the position because he is blood related with the founder.
If he saw this post, I don't mind. That's my opinion against him. He can continue to ridicule me and I will continue to annoy him. Let see who can last longer.

Concierge E-Commerce the way to go?
Is it true that concierge e-commerce is the way to go now?
This is just my 2 cents.
From consumer point of view, buying things online speed things up. I can view the item that I want through e-commerce website by a simple search function. If I cannot find the item that I want, that means the search function is not good enough. People who can buy online usually are good enough to key in few keywords of item that they want to buy. So finding results of item through search engine is definitely not a problem for them. However, for consumers that who are not able to use e-commerce properly, usually they will just stop by some place and buy the item they want in a shop. Unless the item is not available anywhere nearby them. But yeah, most of the time that happens.
As for Business owner point of view, having concierge for e-commerce platform is almost like opening a shop to sell things. The operating cost might be doubled or tripled because you need a team of good IT people to set up your website. You also need a team of good people to key in those product information. All of them are more expensive than hiring few shopkeepers or sales assistant to help you to do stock receiving, stock take, selling and merchandising. But, e-commerce still has it's advantages. It is accessible worldwide. Meaning anyone can buy as long as they have internet.
So let's take a look back to today's market. When people mention about e-commerce, we will think of Lazada, Amazon, Ebay, Taobao or Rakuten. It is hard to beat them in doing promotion and marketing because they are the big player in this industry.
Comparing e-commerce and concierge e-commerce, of course concierge e-commerce will require higher operating cost because they need to have a group of good people who can have a friendly chat with the customers. Still, concierge e-commerce will be able to net all the remaining people who are not good enough to purchase properly through e-commerce website. So both pros and cons are there.
But if I am given a chance, I think I wont start a concierge e-commerce business due to all the reasons above. :) For me, internet business that is self sustainable are like stock photo, video hosting, digital advertising, famous information site and some other field that I don't have chance to get in to yet. So do lighten me up if you are in a business that is sustainable but not in the list I just mentioned.

My own website, www.foodshare.my
Finally come out with my own website.
Actually, not alone. I did it with my best friend, the greatest front end developer I ever met. His name is Sean Ngu. Good guy who is still single. I still wonder why many good guys got friend zoned or cannot find a good girl friend.
Anyway, back to the main topic. The website is up. Still learning more about SEO so it appears in google. Not as simple as using the webmaster tools in google. Also need to do some meta tagging, each page header and maybe generate a dynamic meta description for each page too....
This website totally didn't get any sponsor or donation from anyone. Originally we do it to earn money but now I think we just want to get it up and see how it goes. If it earns money, then it earns. Else, we just make it as our portfolio for a better job in future.
However, this website can only be made possible by few people.
First is my best friend la, Sean Ngu. The front end developer who has the best front end skill in my opinion. His speed of doing things matched mine, so we can collaborate easily.
Second is Chris Wong, Ting Jing Ling and Ng Dick Tern from church. They sparked this idea because we always wonder where to go for our meal. So I end up thinking this might work, and planned the whole thing.
Well, we did try to find few more people to help out in this project last year but things didn't work as well as I hope for. I approached one of my friend from my previous church who is really good in Sales and Marketing. He also can do a bit of design. But I hope he can work on Marketing once the website is done. Then he bring in another friend who previously work in fine dining. We had our weekly meeting through Skype. So I distributed the task and we hope to finish everything and set to live the website in few weeks time.
However, we don't have enough data and the website couldn't go live. We are stucked doing development and data entry. Things got pretty bad and we end up disbanding the whole group.
However, the original owner of the domain and project is still me and Sean Ngu. After leaving it idle for about 8 months, I thought it's time to bring it back to live. So I clean up all the features we planned to have but cannot finish in time, leaving few main features that had been completed before, adding few more "must have features" in the website and then add in the info 1 by 1 and live it.
No marketing or sharing has been done on facebook or anywhere yet. So we have no high traffic to the website. Once it has more data, like maybe few hundreds, then maybe we will start to use facebook to advertise the website.
I am just feeling excited now. :)

Self improvement.
Self improvement is so important. No matter what is it we are doing, we need to improve ourselves. Just make sure everything done is really useful and not a waste of time.
Even if reading article from internet, watching television (of useful documentary) is counted as productive things for me because i learn something new from there.
I believe we should not stop learning. So whenever watching or reading something, i will try to see what i can learn from there.

Tips on making girl feels good on your first date.
This is my personal opinion only.
1. Check a little bit on her background during chat or facebook to know what type of person is she. Student? Worker? Professional? Businessman? Entrepreneur? Dress accordingly. Don't wear formal, tie and coat if she is student. This will make her feel not comfortable.
2. Ask question to her about herself. Talk less about yourself unless she asked a lot about you.
3. Ask her what to eat on the menu and help her to order it.
4. Choose a suitable place for the date. Don't pick noisy place. Choose place with some people but not too many people.
5. Don't simply touch her. Respect the girl and she will respect you back.
6. Talk the way she talked to you. If she talks fast, you should not talk too slow. If she talks a lot, let her do so.
7. Listen to what she said and ask question accordingly. Don't ask question that is totally different than what you and her discussed.
8. Sometimes a moment of silence is good too.
9. Don't eat too fast, it will cause her to eat faster and feel uncomfortable.
10. Don't eat too less. She will not dare to eat much if you do so.
11. Don't eat too much, you will scare her off.
12. Pay for the bill, don't be a jackass.

Date with strangers experience.
I had asked many girls out for dinner and movie. If you consider dinner and movie privately with a girl at some nice restaurant as a date, then i had been on many dates.
Just sharing some of my experience. Strangers that I date are really from online dating website. Some of them are a bit desperate to find boyfriend but some of them are just trying to make more friends so they can do their business better. Like what I did before. The group of people that I meant is insurance agent and direct sales distributor. Both of these group of people hope to meet as much friends as before. Although some might really end up become a couple after some dates, the chances to get together with these 2 groups of people are really rare.
So most of the people who are using these dating websites with the original intention and purpose of them had less choices to choose from. Most of the girl and boy that i met from these web are either introvert, which mean does not know how to socialize well, or not so good looking physically, like don't know how to make up, fat or etc. Well, you can say that might be true for me because I am using them too. Its not totally wrong. I am sometimes introvert and I am not so good looking physically. Hahahaha.
Although I am not so good looking physically, I had been quite an ass. Quite picky on most of the thing. Whenever i date a girl and the feeling is not right, i will not date that girl anymore. I found out that this is not only happening to me. Some girls that I met also did the same. Its some sort of signal like "we are not really suitable together, let's not waste our precious time".
Some of you might say, "oh my, why not just going out as friends first". Well, I am meeting a strangers that i know not much about. If i bring her to meet my friends, my friends will thought I had some feeling for her. If we went out privately, it will feel like we are having a date. So in the end, i think not meeting up is a better choice. I don't feel guilty or anything too. Its not like I did anything to her on the first date too.
Tip on making her feels good at the first date on next post.

Top 5 reasons you shouldn't be fat.
There is no survey had been done, just personal opinion.
- You shouldn't be fat because you will cause the person who sit beside you in bus, LRT or airplane feel uncomfortable. You are taking up their space, leaving them so less left.
- You shouldn't be fat because whenever you are in a car, whether you are driving or not, you will cause the car to be unbalanced. You will cause the car absorber to spoil faster.
- You shouldn't be fat because you will slow down many people. You slowed down your team in a game, you slowed down the whole group in a bus because you cannot get off the bus faster, you slowed down the the transport of people from 1st floor to 20th floor because your weight alone is enough to cover up for 2 people and so on. You slow!
- You shouldn't be fat because you die faster. Although some skinny people also die fast, but fat people definitely will get high blood pressure, diabetes and heart attack easier.
- You shouldn't be fat because you will be lack of stamina. A little bit of walking cause you to feel tired. You cannot work efficiently compared to healthier or skinnier people. No matter what you do, you lack of stamina.... No matter what...

Thinking and doing.
Thinking and doing. In most job, we only need to do, following the footstep of our superiors or seniors or leaders. It goes by the saying "The more you think, the less you do; the less you think, the more you do".
However, it is totally the other way round for IT Developer. For us, "The more you think, the better you do; the less you think, the worse you do".
So this conflicts really made me stucked in the middle. I just feel so tired from a lot of things lately and wanted to get some rest.

Samsung Galaxy S2 stucked at Samsung Logo page after software update to Jelly Bean
Here is what happened.
I was sleeping. And when i was half awake, i saw my Galaxy S2 has a software update. Being half awake and half asleep me, I thought "Finally Jelly Bean" is out for Samsung Galaxy S2. So i clicked update and continued my sleep. Since i have unifi installed, i am not worry of the data download usage. And since i plugged the charger with my smartphone whole night, i am not worried about the battery as well.
When i woke up, i saw the phone showed Samsung logo. The logo is what we saw when we first turn on our Samsung phone. I thought it was still updating the phone, so i waited for the whole day.
The next day, the logo is still there. I had thought that something was wrong so I tried several things.
1. Restart my phone. I clicked on turn off button for abt 5 seconds then the screen is gone. When i release the button, the screen appear again.
2. Take out the battery. I take out the battery and put it back in. Then tried to turn it on again. It still stucked at Samsung logo.
3. I try to reset it. I push volume up button, turn on/off button and home button for 10 seconds, still nothing happen.
4. I tried what is written on FAQ page of Samsung smarphone web page. Take out the battery, put it back in, do step 3 again but still nothing happen.
In the end, i decided to bring to Samsung service center to fix it.
When i reach there, the person who serve me said they can do it for me. Which mean update to Jelly Bean, but all the data will be gone. I was dumbstrucked for a while. All my picture, songs, message history and phone number will be gone.
Yesterday i got my phone back. All number is gone. The number from when i was in secondary school, college, work and strangers. I need to find all of them back and this is gonna take some time.
Please follow proper step when you are doing software update for your phone.

Facebook new profile layout - "about" sections.
Just sharing my thought. Any comment and feedback is highly appreciated.
Facebook new profile layout is more user friendly. The "About" section highlighted in the picture is on the left top. It will show anything about you that you have filled in previously.
If you click the highlighted area, you will be lead to info page. It will shows several sections like
1. Work and education - Showed where you had studied and where you had worked. A lot of people who use facebook put their position as "Manager" who work at " company". Example "Manager at CZ Company". And mostly people who did this does not work or have a very stable passive income. Or their parents are rich. Hahaha. Anyway, in this section, you can tag people who worked or studied together with you.
2. Family - All your family member that has facebook account can be registered here. You can add them and other people who view your profile can see your family members. I know some people in facebook have more than 50 family members. With all their best friends as sisters or brothers. Some even fake father or mothers. This defeat the purpose of having this section. I don't even know who is the real family members of that person.
3. About you - Some description that you can fill in to let other people know about you. Well, this section can be quite creative. As for myself, you can see i only put Call me CZ. Hahaha. Some fun people put other language in this section. So when i copy and paste to google translate, it comes up with their introduction. Not a bad idea.
4. Favorite quotations - Quotation that you always used when you are talking. I didn't put anything in this section. I don't even know my own favourite quotation. You can choose not to show this in your facebook profile either. I had seen some friends of mine don't have this section.
5. Living - Where you live will be stated here. Your current location and your hometown. Provided you had fill in this details before. However, its better not to put your full address because it might be dangerous if someone you don't know approach you in real life because your address is known to them. Just extra precaution.
6. Basic Information - All about yourself like your gender, birthday, relationship status, languages etc. Now you can see my basic information. I really don't mind let people know about my basic information. It does not harm me anyway.
7. Contact information - How other people can contact you, like your phone number, website, email, etc etc. Its not like people will misuse my phone number. I just put it straight in facebook since my all my facebook friends is who i really know.
8. History by year - Here you can see a lot about your own history. Started work, started to study, get into relationship, etc etc. Whatever happened in your life, a big one, you can put it into here. Normally is work, study or relationship. When you put your work in "work and education" section, it will added automatically to History by year. If you change your relationship status in facebook, it will also be recorded down in this section.

Job Habit
After working for some years, people tend to have some job habit in their social live as well.
As for Web Developer, we tend to think a lot before starting to do something. Thinking of the consequences, the possibility, the solving methods of each possibility and the default behavior for a process. Each data flow also must be determined.
I believe all jobs have their own habit as well. Even for a manager, maybe they like to boss people around when they are working. So, in their social live, they might like to boss their friends around too.
For a salesman, they might like to promote something they like with their friends like what they do in their work. They often promote is greatly until they succeed in telling their friend to do the things they wanted. That is why sometimes i like to have some salesman friends.
However, is it really ok to have this habit in work? Well, it depends on the social circle you have. If the social circle you are in at that moment is the same type of yours, it should be ok to do that. Otherwise, better not.
So this story of mine is like this. I have a friend that doesn't think much in everything done. But i tend to think too much. In the end, that person feel i think too much and too far ahead. Is it a good thing or bad thing.... gosh. Sometimes i don't understand why people will take thinking too far ahead is not really a good things. It is just impossible to satisfy everyone. So just be yourself.

How to let others feel comfortable when talking to you?
How to let others feel comfortable when talking to you?
I know how, but sometimes even myself cannot do it. Not easy. Haha.
- Agree with what he/she tell you. Sometimes its wrong, so don't agree about everything. But if you agree most of the time, he/she will feel you are really easy and comfortable to talk to.
- When he/she is talking, keep quiet and listen. Don't make too many noise like "em, yes, ya, true, right". This kind of noise is only made when you are making phone call to make sure you are still there and you are still listening.
- Ask appropriate question. People like to talk what they are good in. When you want to let him/her talk, ask question that you are sure that he/she knows the answer. Best is if you ask something she/he is best in. Then he/she will continue to talk non stop.
- If you wanna talk about something, better to let him/her finish her/his talks first. If you are cutting in the middle of his/her talk, of course he/she will not feel comfortable talking to you. So don't cut in people when they are talking.
- Listen more than talk. People who tend to listen more is more likely to be like by someone. There is one case where a friend of mine, keep on listening only to an aunty to talk, finally the aunty introduce him to other aunties saying "He is so friendly. He is really a good guy". But what has he done? He only listened. So the listen, listen, listen.... is really something. Hahaha.
- When talking to opposite sex, don't talk about unappropriate things like sex or alcohol. This will make them lost respect to you.
Like i said, its not easy to do this because some of us might like to talk more than listen. So this really takes time to practices. Once you had practices enough, i am sure everyone you talk to will be comfortable with you.
