East Malaysia Vacation. Bintulu to Miri to Brunei

Hello. 

It has been some time since i update my blog.

So here is the first greeting picture. 

This is inside a shopping mall in Bintulu

Along with 2 of my brothers.

So here is the stories. My brothers and I went to Bintulu and stayed at my relative house for 2 nights. The first day is bored and nothing much can be done during afternoon. Only walking in a shopping mall which is much smaller than the shopping mall in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

But East Malaysia!!! We should enjoy the nature. Not the city live...

So we went to Kuala Tatau.... (Sounds like tak tau.... in chinese, island is "dao", so is actually "bu zhi dao"... which mean i don't know in chinese)

So we take a small boat to get over to the other side.

Here is some worm for fishing purpose.

Its actually a boring moment when you need to wait for the fish to get hooked.

So at night time, we went to this relative house and we started BBQ. Its really fun.

However, when we are eating happily, this dog, Lulu if not mistaken, got poisoned by someone outside. They throw some food with dog poison. Of course dog know nothing. So they just eat whatever there is. Few minutes later, the dog started to vomit bubble. Cannot move and start shaking on the floor. It died in about 20-30 minutes.

Cannot do anything about it. We still need to continue the bbq.

So the third day, we wanted to go to Miri to play. So my relative brought us to eat breakfast first.

Nasi lemak ayam. Which is really really delicious in my opinion.

On the way, we stopped at this beach.

And the scenery is destroyed by him... Hahahaha.

So we went for lunch at Uncle Lim Kitchen. The food is really made using their best effort. Because it took more than half hour for 3 dishes to come out. Hahaha.

Of course i always eat meat in each meal.

And my brother tried this out. But it's satisfying and full.

Our next journey is to Crocodile Farm. 

So i take a picture with the statue at the entrance.

Its actually a zoo. But the main attraction is crocodile, that's why its called crocodile farm.

Bak kut teh crocodile soup. I didn't try...

A day of dinner in Bangi

Last Sunday night, my friend, Wai Choon, and I went to Bangi to find my brother to have dinner. We went to a restaurant to eat Yong Tau Fu end up we ordered dishes for the dinner.

And most expensive of all, fish...

Total cost is about RM109. Each of us paid RM18. Its really an expensive meal.

Lunch at Wong Kok SS2

My colleagues and I had been eating economic rice for about 3 weeks, its about time we have something special. So I suggested we have something better than economic rice but not too expensive. My team lead suggested Wong Kok. Hm, good suggestion because it had been about few months since i last having Wong Kok food. 

We ordered quite a lot of food. 3 lunch sets with....

Fruits. Only 3 small pieces of watermelon and honey dew.

One drinks

My colleagues ordered spaghetti. Both of them having spaghetti.

With Borsch soup as well.

As for my main dish, its lemon chicken chop rice. Not bad right but...

Actually the chicken chop is quite thin.

My colleague ordered another vege rice because he feel not full enough.

We also ordered another side dish which is bread with bacon and egg with portuguese sauce.

Actually there is another waffle. 

Total cost is around RM75. For 3 people, its quite a lot.

Actually all of the food taste alright. And for my blog reader, there is a cute girl working in Wong Kok SS2 now. When i told my colleagues about it, they said she just looked normal, then i guess its just that the girl is my type. Haha.

Restaurant Pakka

It is located at seksyen 17, Petaling Jaya.

There are several stalls there. I had my eye on the roasted duck stall. The price is displayed properly, no need to scare about being cheated.

So i ordered a roasted duck rice.

This is the roasted duck rice i eat.

Comments about food: It taste quite good. The duck skin is a bit too hard but the meat taste great. The rice taste good too but the rice is too little for me. For soup, i feel its not warm enough and its not salty enough. Maybe i am a person who like to eat salty food.

Comments about service: The service is not fast. Even if there are not many customer by the time I am there, they also took quite a long time to prepare the food. One of my friend waits for the food until I almost finished mine. Another one of my friend ordered a roasted duck to bring it home. Until when we  are going back, the roasted duck is still not there. We go to the roasted duck stall and asked for it again.

Driven Communication CNY Dinner

2 days before Chinese New Year, we have this company dinner at LA Meridien hotel at KL sentral. The buffet is quite delicious. Below is some picture of the food there.
